SeasonalDescription
A historical Franconian beer, Zoigl means “sign” in their dialect. Czech pilsner malt, German Munich malt, English crystal malt and American brewers corn are matched with whole cone American hops to balance this amber American corn lager. Truly an international collaboration of ingredients and an American collaboration with Goldfinger brewing in Chicago who passed us the Zoigl.
A historial Franconian brewing tradition, the Zoigl (two superimposed triangles similar to and commonly confused with a Star of David) was passed around the village between citizen brewers to be hung over their front door to signify that they had beer to sell made from the community brewhouse. Today the Zoigl is commonly seen in front of many Franconian breweries. When our Zoigl beer runs out, we too will hand off
